For electric co-ops

Your co-op’s story, as a song.

We made this four-minute film for a made-up co-op turning ninety: the farmers who set their own poles, the night the lights came on, and the whole county singing at the annual meeting. Watch it, then get one for your co-op.

We Turned the Lights On Ourselves

From the schoolhouse meeting in 1937 to the 90th annual meeting, with a choir, a brass band and every member singing the last chorus.

An example: Sycamore Bend Electric Cooperative is a made-up co-op. Every name, number and date in the film is invented.

You don’t pay until you’ve seen the result

You and your board okay every word before we make anything. Two rounds of changes included. Ready in about seven days. Prices plus sales tax where it applies.

Play it at your annual meeting, on your website and Facebook, on local TV and radio, at the county fair booth and on hold. Yours to use everywhere, for as long as you like.

Good questions, plain answers.

Is Sycamore Bend a real co-op?

No. We made it up to show what a four-minute song and film for a co-op looks like. The people, the dates, the storm and the phone number are all invented. Yours is about your co-op, in your words.

Our story is different. Can we still take this one?

Yes. Your name, town and number go in, and any line that isn’t true for you (the year you started, how many farms got lights first, the storm) is rewritten with your facts. You read every word before anything is made. If you’d rather have a song that’s all yours, that’s the $3,900 one.

Can our board see it first?

Yes. You and your board okay the words before we make anything, and you see the finished film before you pay. Two rounds of changes are included.

What do you need from us?

Your website, and a few minutes to check what we found about your co-op. A logo and an old photo or two help, but aren’t needed. Nobody has to sing or be on camera.

How long does it take?

About seven days once we have your answers, longer while we wait for them. Tell us the date of your meeting or anniversary and we’ll plan around it.

Can we use it everywhere?

Yes: your meeting, your website, Facebook, ads, local TV, radio, on hold and events, for as long as you like. It’s written into your order, and our terms spell out the music rights.
