What this site keeps, and what it doesn’t.
When you send a request
We keep what you type into the request form (your name, email, website, the film and genre you picked, and what you wrote), and the country it came from, so we can make your video and answer you. It is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site, and emailed to our team through our own notification service; our email is hosted by Google. We don’t sell it, share it or add you to a mailing list.
To stop spam, we note the internet address a request came from for about an hour. We delete requests from our store after about 13 months. If you become a customer, we keep your order and invoices for as long as tax law requires. Ask us to delete your details at any time: [email protected].
We also count requests per month, without names, for the numbers shown on this site.
When you book a call
Booking a call uses Google Calendar, and Google’s privacy policy applies there.
When you visit
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t follow you to other sites. This site sets no cookies of its own, and its fonts are served from here.
When you watch
The films on this site come from YouTube, in its privacy-enhanced mode, and load only when you press play. From then on YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
Who runs this site
Explainer Music Videos is run by Avery Intelligence Inc, 1300 El Camino Real, Suite 100 #66, Menlo Park, CA 94025, which decides what happens to anything you send us.
